Oh yeah, and A DAY IN THE LIFE?!
Fantastic concert by Neil Young! He can still rock and his voice and guitar sounded better than ever. I wish he could have played another 2 hours!
SHUT UP. Seriously? He played like none of those songs when he was at Northrop last time. Jeal-ous.
i do not feel bad for forgetting that t-shirt now.
Such an incredible show, man. I'm still living off of it and I couldn't have asked for a better set list.
Well, ok, Tonight, Tonight live would've been pretty sweet.
I saw Neiil at the Chicago Theatre last year on his birthday. Both shows were really great!
The encore last night was awesome, wasn't it? He covered that song well.
Wow I really screwed that last comment up- as you can tell I'm pretty wiped out from the show and then staying out late afterward only to get up early to drive back to Madison today to make it to work…
Anyway, besides spelling his name wrong, I meant to add that I was at the show last night and thought his set list was really great.
Also there… and had a similar vantage point as the videos posted… row 1, seats 1-2 in section 108. WE WERE SO HAPPY to hear Cortez!! Other times seeing Neil Young in the past he did not play that, so it was a definite high point. He's amazing. And did you catch the glimpse of the t-shirt on the big big projection screens … "More Cowbell. Less McCain". I bought two t-shirts – the gold tie-died and blue/brown "Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere". I didn't realize either that this was actually his first show in the entire tour. What an amazing talent.
On the 8th day, God created Neil Young, and there was feedback. And it was good.
