Nice list, solace. I loved Blitzen Trapper's WMN, for its raw, manic energy. but Furr, like you said, is a great album. I've seen them twice and can't wait for the show, on 2.18 at the Cedar.

Real good stuff. I think Furr will fare the same positioning on my list. Such a super listen. I need to revisit the Constantines record. The Sunk Kil Moon record was kind of a let down for me. It may be on my list, but not near the top.

i loved that latest Helio record a lot. never really got into the new Racontuers whatsoever, and found the latest SM to be pretty damn disappointing (albeit better than their last one).

they just lost way too much w/ the loss of Ben Curtis imo… their Fine Line show this summer was the worst show i saw all year, hands down.

Very nice. 10 through 5 was pretty similar to mine. Just haven't picked up Fleet Foxes yet, and I got Blitzen Trapper just recently so I haven't really had it soak in yet. I'll definitely give it some more spins though. I thought BSP and Constantines new ones were severely under appreciated this year.
