ACE CONTROL is the second album by Montreal’s Handsome Furs, 2007’s Plague Park was their first. Alexei Perry and Dan Boeckner wrote the songs on FACE CONTROL together. The album was recorded and mixed by Arlen Thompson at Mount Zoomer. It was mastered by Harris Newman at Hotel2Tango. It will be released on March 10th, 2009.

that's what it says at Sub Pop, the date underneath in italics is obviously wrong…the release was pushed back as the band were waiting for legal confirmation from New Order so they could use a certain riff of their's on the record.
ah, thanks
ah well, release date doesn't really matter to me ever
new album is way better than Plague Park already
but thanks for the heads up, i'll change the post.
I just got this last night and am really enjoying it so far. I'll see how it holds up though, Plague Park was actually my favorite release of 2007.
i agree, i think this record is tremendous and a great progression from Plague Park…thanks for posting about it!
release date is now march 10th
hmm… someone @ Sub Pop should be informed:
