Range Life Entertainment – Fall 2009 Tour (Win Tickets!)

Picture 15

The Mission

Straight out of college and hungry to make a full-length movie, an aspiring filmmaker together with a group of close friends did just that. Frustrated and dissatisfied with distribution options, they set out on the road to find an audience. From city to city and town to town, they discovered touring was the most direct connection to growing a fan base and having their movie seen.

The initial Range Life tours exceeded all expectation. We found a greater need for not only screenings, but for expanding creative outlets through educational programs, social networks, and parties.

{On Sept 17, 19 and 20, Range Life Entertainment presents three energetic, irreverent, innovative independent comedies that have been turning heads and generating cult audiences at festivals across the nation. Traversing the nation by van this fall, these filmmakers are at the forefront of a new trend in distribution; engaging in grassroots marketing and on-line promotion to bring their films directly to the public. Online tickets.}
Sept 17, 9:00 — Anywhere, USA (2008)
winner of the Special Jury prize at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.
Sept 19, 5:00 — White on Rice (2009)
winner of the Jury Prize at the Asian Pacific Film Festival Los Angeles 2009.
Sept 20, 7:00 — Visioneers (2008) Zach Galifianakis stars in the CineVegas hit-comedy from Jared and Brandon Drake.

Win a pair of tickets for tonight’s screening of ‘Anywhere, USA.’ The film has a great musical score featuring the music of Devendra Banhart as well as Tin Hat Trio. The screening is @ 9PM tonight at Trylon Cinemas @ 3258 Minnehaha Avenue S

The first person to email (Paul [at] Morecowbell [dot] net) that can go to the screening tonight @ 9PM will win a pair of tickets!
