SHAHS & VELVET DAVENPORT @ ELECTRIC FETUS

Tonight @ 7PM The Electric Fetus will host their October edition of their Minn-Economy series. This month they have found a few DIY up and comers.  Both bands albums are online for free (if you know where to look),  if you enjoy it, please come support these local artists.

Shahs’  Tom Helgerson will soon depart for his next step in life in Misoula, MT so catch him while you can.. Tom individually constructed each new album case by hand.

SHAHS performs first tonight @ 7PM. The Electric Fetus will have copies of his new, “GUTS” EP

Tapes 'N Tapes Announce Twin Cities Tour

To show their undying love for all things Twin Cities, Tapes ‘n Tapes have
planned three very special gigs.  They will be playing three shows, three
nights in a row with their favorite bands from home at some of their
favorite venues.  Friday’s show, at the beautiful and recently re-opened
Music Box, will be an acoustic set.

Thursday, 10/1……7th STREET ENTRY……18+, Doors 8pm
Friday, 10/2……MUSIC BOX THEATER……18+, Doors 8pm (ACOUSTIC SHOW)
Saturday, 10/3……TURF CLUB……21+, Doors 9pm
ALL SHOWS PRESENTED BY FIRST AVENUE and ALL TICKETS $10
TICKETS ONSALE Saturday, 8/1 through First Avenue Outlets

Tapes will be announcing the openers one by one in the coming weeks.  Expect
many wonderful surprises, lots of new songs and much rocking.  These shows
are going to be better than Joe Mauer sitting in the spoon at Spoonbridge
and Cherry, eating a Juicy Lucy while rocking out to Prince.
Well, maybe not, but we’ll certainly try.
