Chris Thomson @ The Whole

The Whole Music Club and Now Like Photographs present:

“The Dragon Painter” (1919) and video performance by Chris Thomson and Randy Kramer

OK, so stay with us here. It’s not your typical show. Now Like Photographs, the epic instrumentals show on RadioK, thought it would be a cool idea to show a movie and have an instrumental soundtrack played for it. I agreed. So, we are showing the silent movie “The Dragon Painter” and NLP is going to create a soundtrack for it while it’s showing.
The other thing happening is a new duo of Chris Thomson (laptop) and Randy Kramer (video). They do a unique improv-based performance of music and video. Randy Kramer has been making a name for himself around town as The Guy That Does The Dosh Videos. Chris Thomson recently released his solo record “The Three Elements” and is a killer musician.
Still with us? Good. Stop by. It’s going to be swell.

Poutums @ Clown Lounge

http://www.jazzpolice.com/images/stories/minneapolis/mity-_adam_linz_10280e.jpg

Hey everyone. I hope this is finding you weathered and well. Tonight at the Clown Lounge we present POUTUMS. You read right, a group about the pouty faces we see all day long out there. Social statement or just plain sillyness? You be the judge. But in all seriousness we got some new music we’re playing and I’m really excited about it. Hope you can come down. Hugs LINZ
