Our friends @ Culture Bully are proud to present The Absent Arch, Suzanne Vallie & Les Ourses @ the Acadia Cafe Thursday, January 29, 2009. Supporting the band’s recently released album, Keep Calm and Carry On, The Absent Arch are playing a number of dates in January leading up to the Acadia show including A Paper Cup Band’s January 9 release show at the Hexagon Bad and a set at Eclipse Records on the 24th.

One For The Team @ Cake Shop (Brooklyn, NY)

One For The Team are in town from Minneapolis to play Cake Shop on (coincedentally?) the same night one of their songs plays on MTV’s The Real World Brooklyn (I didn’t even fully realize the show was on yet).

Here, Ian Anderson of Minneapolis’ One For The Team dissects the spiral of thoughts which formed the theme to one of the group’s most recent singles from their latest release, Build It Up.
