Dimebag Darrell (formerly of Pantera) of the band Damageplan was shot and killed on stage tonight at a Damageplan show in Columbus, OH.

According the latest news story, 4 others were killed as well, and i’ve heard reports that Dime’s brother Vinnie Paul (also formerly of Pantera), and Damageplan’s singer, Patrick Lehman, were also killed.

This is just so fucked up.

I saw Pantera in 1997 in Boise, ID, w/ Anthrax & Coal Chamber opening, i even caught one of Dime’s picks at the show too

Tonight happens to be the 24th anniversary of John Lennon being shot and killed as well
