Check this out if you are headed to Chicago for Pitchfork Music Festival… The ‘Dickfork” After-Party!
The Hood Internet also just released four new tracks today on their site..

Rush River Brewing from River Falls Wisconsin will be on hand sampling beers, talking about their beers and pairing them with Heather’s food.
Our newest addition will be members of Northern Brewer family hanging around the back with a big pot of boiling wort. That’s right, our first homebrew. We plan on brewing a batch at each show and sampling it at the following Gastro Non Grata.
Music will begin with Mr. Fly, resident singer/songwriter of Spoonriver, followed by the tonal sincerity of Dreamland Faces, the yearning rock of the Evening Rig, Hair raising noise from His Mischief and the complete musical onslaught of Birthday Suits.
Colin Gasko of Rogue Chocolatier will be finishing the night bittersweetly with bits of bean-to-bar heaven and you can count on the Dead Meat Door Prize by Clancey’s Butcher Shop to be interesting.

MPSHOWS.COM PRESENTS
CLUES BELLA KOSHKA QUIST AND THE HATS CLUES began building in secret in the summer of 2007, playing a series of un-advertised shows in small Montréal venues. Emerging above-ground in 2008, their first performances elicited passionate responses from both audiences and music media. During live shows and on recordings, the band share and trade-off on their extensive collection of instruments and create a hopeful, urgent music that expands Montréal’s (already diverse) pop music lexicon, with references to post-punk and experimental music traditions. CLUES’ concerts incorporate multiple drummers, a Commodore 64, and an OLPC. $10.00 ADVANCE TICKETS / $10.00 DAY OF SHOW |

Calvin Johnson, former Beat Happening front man and K Records head honcho, is going on tour with his brand new band, The Hive Dwellers. The tour will kick off on April 14 with K newbies Chain and the Gang, featuring Ian Svenious (Nation of Ulysses, the Make-Up, Weird War, etc.) Interestingly, aside from the front men, the two groups will consist of the same members — Bret Lyman (Bad Thoughts), Brian Weber (Dub Narcotic Sound System), Sarah Pedal, and Fred Thomas (Saturday Looks Good to Me, City Center). - Jon Lorenz
