Local supergroup GAYNGS played two shows at First Avenue on Friday to excited crowds of Twin Citizens decked out in prom gear. The night was pretty perfect, and Prince even made a brief appearance (though he didn’t play).

Hey all,

The Turf Club has some tricks up their sleeve. Starting December 1st, there will be a new series both upstairs and downstairs (in the Clown Lounge)

Upstairs will be programmed by ‘More Cowb ell‘

Downstairs is a continuation of Monday Jazz Implosion, but now on Tuesdays as well! Zacc Harris is spearheading this effort and has already got some nice surprises..

mike has been out on the road again but is returning this weekend..therefore, fat kids will return to the clown lounge for 2 full sets of music this monday. i really hope you can make it down,

What more could you ask for? A free Dosh show and a screening of a Terry Gilliam movie, all outdoors. Dosh informed us, each band picked 5 movies and he had selected all Gilliam features, Brazil, Monty Python, etc…
