LA-based darlings Family of the Year played the 400 Bar Saturday night opening up for Clem Snide. The show was the last stop on their tour and the playing was tight and memorable. Local supergroup GAYNGS played two shows at First Avenue on Friday to excited crowds of Twin Citizens decked out in prom gear. The night was pretty perfect, and Prince even made a brief appearance (though he didn’t play).
Lookbook played a high energy show at a packed Sauce Friday night. The venue was at capacity by the time they took the stage. To Kill a Petty Bougeousie and DJ Skull Buster opened. Look for the Lookbook More Cowbell! interview later in the week, and be sure to hit their CD remix release at 7th Street Entry next Saturday.
