Gay Witch Abortion & Plastic Chord (Last Show) @ Turf Club

“Join us in supporting the Photography and Digital Imaging program at Minneapolis Community and Technical College!

This benefit will include performances by the following bands:

Gospel Gossip
Gay Witch Abortion
Plastic Chord (Last Show)
Royal Doomed

Along with music, we will be raffling off framed photographs taken by students and staff of the MCTC Photography program. At only a dollar a ticket, you can’t afford not to take the chance to win an original piece of artwork!

Doors will open at 9 and will include a mere 5 dollar cover, and music will start promptly at 10. Samples of photographs that will be included in the raffle will be posted as they become available, so check back often. Photo above by Charlie Quade..

From the theater company who brought you “Fort Wilson Riot presents: Idigaragua,” (Variety Review) and “Massgraves, ft. Kill the Vultures“…. Lamb Lays with Lion is proud to present our newest ensemble created work: Tenebrism.

Tenebrism is inspired by the religious imagery of Renaissance painter Caravaggio, Martin Scorsesse’s “The Last Temptation of Christ,” and legendary rock star Ian Curtis and his iconic post-punk band, Joy Division.

After the theatrical performance, Lamb Lays with Lion will treat audience members to a medley of silent films and video clips.  Each evening a different Twin Cities band will perform live, to soundtrack the films.

With such an ambitious line-up of Original Performance, Video, and live Twin Cities Musicians, Tenebrism promises to be an unforgettable evening of entertainment.
