This guy plays in Fleet Foxes, but has been putting out records compulsively. It appears as though he released eight records in the last five years..

Party of One
Party of One are a tight, angular and intriguing three-piece from the coldest state in the USA, Minnesota, and are based around the enigmatic presence of guitarist / songwriter Eric Fifteen.
As well as Eric on guitar and vocal duties, Party of One comprises Terrika Kleinknecht playing the bass and sometimes singing, and Geoff McCusick playing the drums. Geoff teaches fourth grade and Terrica teaches girls to play the drums, as well as playing the same in the Portland-based excellently named Pom Pom Meltdown.
Party of One have played round and about the Twin Cities, but not a lot beyond. A brief tour to the UK in March 2003 to coincide with their first FatCat album release ‘Caught In The Blast’ began their foray into the world beyond. A second single, ‘Snap You Like A Twig’ was released in February 2004, and was followed by another tour of the UK and Europe.

There are plenty of reasons why October 17s MUTEMATH concert at First Avenue is one of the must-see shows of this fall, but perhaps the biggest reason is Darren King. Darren began his drumming career with the New Orleans based band Earthsuit. Now playing with MUTEMATH, King has perfected his craft and has become one of the most exciting drummers today. Darren is known for innovative drumming, along with combining electronic drum samples and his acoustic drums. However, Darren’s greatest asset is his energy. Known for creative solos, movement, and breaking things, King is a joy to watch. MUTEMATH vocalist and keyboardist Paul Meany is also known for his fair share of onstage acrobatics. If you want to not only hear great music, but also see a great visual performance, MUTEMATH is one of the must-see shows for this fall.

Sunn O))) will take over the Varsity Theater tonight at around 10PM. Tickets will be available @ the door for $15 – 18+
The opener, Eagle Twin sounds just as dark as Sun O))) but with a bit more sludge.

City On The Make, seem to have been graced with a stroke of luck. They were originally slated to host their CD Release show for ‘Keep This On Fire’ at the tempoarily defunct 400 Bar. After some juggling, the Bedlam graciously agreed to help the dudes out.
The Bedlam is a great spot, right off the light rail station of The Greenway. Their roof patio is a highlight..
Just a quick jump from anywhere really, but it’s closest neighbors are Triple Rock & Palmer’s..
