The Juan Maclean are touring behind their new forthcoming album, and it is fucking amazing – full of classic disco, house, and techno references, while aimed straight into the future. It is some of the best stuff to come out on DFA, period. The band line-up this time around features Juan Maclean, Nancy (LCD Soundsystem), Nick (Holy Ghost!), and Jerry (!!!, Turing Machine), and is stopping at the 7th Street Entry for a show Saturday night.
After the show, there’s free crossover into the mainroom for the back-to-school edition of Too Much Love, which should be off the hook. I will be playing alongside the incomparable Naughty Wood, with Juan and Nick coming by after the show to spin records. Absolutely not to be missed!
